Biography:
Corbett
Grainger is an EES Fellow and PhD student in Economics at University
of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his MS in Applied Economics at University of Minnesota,
and a BA in Economics and German from Concordia College.
During his junior year at Concordia, he was awarded a scholarship to study at
Technische Universiät Karlsruhe, Germany,
and as part of the EES program at UCSB he spent the summer of 2006 at Ecologic,
a European environmental policy think-tank in Berlin. His research interests include
the incidence of environmental regulations, market-based incentives for
pollution control and natural resource management, and the impact of
legislative redistricting on polarization.
His research advisor is Prof. Charles Kolstad.
