Results from hide and seek experiment.
We
had 4 boxes in a row from left to right.
The second one from the left was yellow, the rest were blue.
In Round 1, students were seekers. In round 2 they were hiders. In round 3 they were seekers and in round 4 they were hiders. Results of round 1 were not displayed before round 2. After that all previous rounds were displayed. Numbers of persons who chose each box are displayed below.

Note
that in the first round seekers tended not to look in end boxes, but that
hiders tended to hide in end boxes.
This
is true, although in Round 2, hiders did not know the results of round 1. They
only knew where they themselves hid. In
round 3, seekers had seen the result of
round 2. Notice that the most frequent choice in round 3 is the best response
to the distribution in round 2.
