The Program: Difficulty
The AEA Summer Program expects a great deal from participants.
They should be well prepared in quantitative areas: knowledge of calculus
and statistics are required, and a familiarity with computers and linear
algebra is advisable (see Prerequisites
for specific courses). During the program's eight-week period, students
should anticipate devoting all of their time and effort to satisfying
curriculum requirements and engaging in scheduled program events.
