Faculty
Fellowships are used mainly to help the department attract
top young scholars to our campus in a period when competition
for academic talent is ever more intense. Thanks to generous
donors, the department is currently able to offer two named
Faculty Fellowships:
David Marshall-Merrill
Lynch Faculty Fellowship
William Garlock Faculty
Fellowship
If you are interested in establishing a named faculty fellowship
in Economics, please contact Carroll Deason at giving@econ.ucsb.edu or (805) 893-2774.
You can also make a tax-deductible donation to the Departmental
Faculty Fellowship Fund. This fund is used purely to provide
supplemental salary and research funds to (a) attract new
faculty to our campus, or (b) retain current faculty who
have job offers from other universities. To make a contribution
