Marion and Dean Ramstad Scholarship Fund
Former residents of Santa Barbara, the Ramstads now reside in Medford, OR.
Dean Ramstad, a retired attorney, served as a UC Santa Barbara Foundation
Trustee, on the UCSB General Affiliates Board and was President of the
Affiliates organization. Marion was actively involved with the University
Art Museum and supporting the efforts of the Museum Council.
The Marion and Dean Ramstad Scholarship Fund has been
established to benefit the educational experience of UCSB
undergraduate economics students entering their junior and/or
senior year. The scholarship award is merit based and recipients
must be eligible for work study. Specifically, the Ramstads
have requested that the award be made available to students
seeking support for the Educational Abroad Program or for
the UCDC Program.
