Research Centers provide resources (computing, data, travel
and conference funds, web hosting, research assistance,
etc.) for in-depth study of a particular subject. Currently,
there are two research centers associated with UCSB’s
Department of Economics:
The UCSB Experimental and Behavioral Economics Laboratory (EBEL)
If you are interested in supporting EBEL, please contact Joan Zalenski at joan@econ.ucsb.edu or (805) 893-3569
The Laboratory for Aggregate Economics
and Finance (LAEF).
If you are interested in supporting LAEF, please contact
Carmen Earle at carmen@econ.ucsb.edu
or (805) 893-2258
If you would like to know more about supporting a new
research center on any topic in UCSB’s economics
department, please contact Carroll Deason at giving@econ.ucsb.edu
or (805) 893-2774.
