Personal Information
I was born in Stratford,
Ontario, Canada.
I moved to the United States
in 1986 to attend graduate school at Cornell
University. I left Ithaca, NY
to start work at UCSB in July of 1991. On April 18, 2002 I became a U.S. citizen. My
wife's name is Jada, and I have two daughters, Charlotte and Michelle. We enjoy
Santa Barbara
very much, but also like to travel home at least once a year. Jada is from Staten Island, New
York. My parents live on Manitoulin Island, Ontario,
Canada. At different
times of the year I like to run, mountain bike and play hockey.
