Charlie KolstadProfessor |
Professor Kolstad is an environmental economist, active in both the research community and in environmental policy. He edits the journal Resource and Energy Economics and serves on the US EPA's Science Advisory Board. His research is in the area of environmental regulation and in valuing environmental goods and services. He currently has a large project examining the role of learning and information in the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions. In the past, Professor Kolstad has conducted research on the demand for energy, imperfect competition in resource markets, including the international coal market, spatial differentiation of environmental regulations, and the design of air pollution regulations.
