Economics 293: Third-Year Ph.D. Seminar

The
third-year seminar provides a
forum for students to present early thesis research. The goals
are
to advance the research of students
who
have
advanced
to candidacy, and
to develop proposals that will allow students to advance, if they have
not done so already.
In 2011/12 each student will
present twice: once in Fall and once in Winter quarter.
Letter grades are awarded based on
each student's two
presentations and general class
participation. Significant progress between the two presentations
is expected.
