Shu-Chen Tsao, University of California, Santa Barbara

Biography

Shu-Chen is a Ph.D. student in Economics at UCSB. He specializes in exploring market instruments to align incentives for conservation in non-cooperative settings. As an applied economic theorist, he also collaborates on multiple interdisciplinary projects with the Environmental Markets Lab and the Marine Science Institute at UCSB. Shu-Chen holds a B.A. in Economics from National Taiwan University and an M.S. in Applied Economics from UCLA. During his spare time, he enjoys listening to music with his two cockatiels.
