Professor Gary Libecap Awarded Elinor Ostrom Lifetime Achievement Award

Professor Gary Libecap was presented with the Elinor Ostrom Lifetime Achievement Award earlier this month. 

The biannual award is presented to those who have made significant academic contributions to an economics institution and/or organization. 

Gary Libecap is a Distinguished Professor of Corporate Environmental Management in the Bren School of Environmental Science as well as a Distinguished Professor of Economics. His economics research has highlighted important issues relating to proprietorship, natural resources, and the environment.
