Raymond Riezman is a Visiting Professor at University of California, Santa Barbara, a Visiting Professor at Aarhus University, and the C. Woody Thompson Research Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Iowa. He is the Founder and Director of the Midwest International Economics Group. His research focuses on protection and preferential trading agreements, trade and technology transfer, political economy, voting theory, outsourcing, and experimental economics. His PhD is from the Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota and he did his undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis. He is an External Research Fellow at GEP, Nottingham, Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Studies - Institute for Economic Research (CES-ifo), Munich, associate editor of Economics Bulletin and associate editor at the Review of International Economics.
