Biography

Sebastian Brown is a PhD candidate in economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research combines behavioral economics and applied microeconomics to study key topics in labor economics, focusing on the role of information and learning in the labor market. His current projects examine how individuals adjust their wage expectations in response to labor market signals and how recent legislation mandating greater pay transparency in job postings has impacted worker outcomes.
