Biography

Shuo is a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in Law from Tsinghua University. She also earned a Master of Arts in Statistics (with a specialization in Data Science) from UC Santa Barbara.

Research

Shuo's main research interest is the empirics of job search and matching in online labor markets, including workers' job search behaviors, employers' recruitment decisions, the role of internet job platforms and algorithm fairness in online job matching.
