Yongwook Kim's research primarily focuses on income and wealth distribution. After completing a B.A. in Economics at Yonsei University in South Korea, Yongwook Kim worked at the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF) for three years. His work experience at KCGF motivated him to explore income and wealth distribution between small-firm and large-firm workers. After attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, his interest in income and wealth distribution has expanded to the education and housing markets through the interaction between parents and children.
