Biography
Ivan Canay is the HSBC Research Professor of Economics at Northwestern University. He is also a co-editor of the Journal of Business & Economic Statistics. He obtained his PhD in Economics from University of Wisconsin - Madison, and before that obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina. His research interests lie broadly in Econometric Theory and its applications, particularly in inference in partially identified models, inference with approximate randomization tests, inference in models with a small number of clustered data, among other areas.
